Cars, homes damaged during Yulan Drive shooting

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened early Tuesday morning in Silver Lake.

Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Lt. Jerry Brewer said neighbors called in the shooting around 5:00 a.m.

Investigators found a home on Yulan Drive had been shot several times, as well as two cars. One of the cars tires were slashed.

A home next door also had two vehicles that were shot.

Brewer says the Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.

No one got hurt.
