Cesar Laurean will return to Onslow County
Cesar Laurean, the Camp Lejeune Marine accused of murder, will be returned to Onslow County as soon as next week.
The sheriff’s office says a Mexican judge recently made that decision. Laurean fled to Mexico after he was accused of killing a pregnant fellow Marine, Maria Lauterbach.
Laurean was captured by Mexican authorities in April and has been held there since.
The Onslow County sheriff says he could return as soon as a week from today.
