CFCC to give away free basketball tickets in honor of MLK Day
WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) – Looking for a great family night out without spending a bundle? Cape Fear Community College will give away free tickets to the Saturday, Jan. 15 basketball game in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Day. The game starts at 5:00 p.m. and the Sea Devils will take on Mount Zion Academy in the Schwartz Center in downtown Wilmington.
The Sea Devils started the 2010-2011 season ranked #23 in the NJCAA Division I. So far this season, the team is 11-4, with some big wins and a few disappointing losses. The team recently defeated Wake Technical College 95-84 in Raleigh. The game on Jan. 15 will be the first home game of 2011.
This year’s fourteen-member team features many new faces, including freshman Rakeem Wilson from New Hanover High School and sophomore Antwan Bosier from Laney High School.
