CFCC to host Sustainability Awareness Week with daily events

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College is getting ready for a week long celebration to help  protect the environment for the years to come.  Hosted by the CFCC Sustainability committee, participants can expect a myriad of events ranging from lectures and demonstrations on sustainability to documentary films and even a pop up farmer’s market.

According to school’s website, the week’s activities are “designed to engage and educate the college community about sustainability.”

Topics include composting, solar power, wind power, and more.
