CFCC’s credit card system was breached; college is warning students and teachers

Cape Fear Community College is warning students and staff to double check their credit card statements.

Security at Heartland Security Systems has been breached. It is a national debit and credit card processor used by Cape Fear.

Only people who swiped their cards at the college are at risk.

So far no one has reported any losses.
