WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The new performance venue at CFCC will be renamed in honor of couple who donated more than a million dollars to the fine arts center.

According to a news release from CFCC, Allan and Laura Wilson, longtime philanthropic supports of the college, donated $1.5 million to the Cape Fear Community College Humanities and Fine Arts Center. The center will now be known as the Allan and Laura Wilson Humanities and Fine Arts Center. A school spokeswoman said this donation is the largest gift the college has ever received.
