CFPUA has 4th water line break in less than two weeks

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Another water line broke this weekend at Princess Place Drive and 30th Street. It’s the fourth line for the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority to break in eleven days.

Last weekend a major line broke at the Sweeney Water Treatment Plant, putting the whole county under a State of Emergency.

CFPUA says there was no service interruption in the neighborhood during this break. Crews had it fixed within a few hours.
