Chad Michael Murray to return to Tree Hill for annual convention

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Looks like Lucas Scott is heading back home to Tree Hill.

Actor Chad Michael Murray confirmed on Twitter Monday he will head to Hollywood East this fall. It’s all for the annual “Return to Tree Hill” EyeCon Convention.

Each year fans of the CW’s locally filmed drama “One Tree Hill” come from all over to meet the celebrities who appeared on the show.

The weekend event include parties, concerts, q-and-as, autographs and photos sessions.

Jana Kramer, who played Alex Dupree on the show, also confirmed she will be at the convention this year.

This year’s convention kicks off October 19 through the 21.
