Chancellor at UNC-Chapel Hill says he will retire
CHAPEL HILL (AP) — The chancellor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill said today he will retire next year.
Chancellor James Moeser said at a news conference that he will leave the university June 30.
The 68-year-old Moeser was named chancellor in 2000 and has led the university's $2.2 billion fundraising effort and created a financial aid program for low-income students.
