Chase ends with car crashing into brick wall at 3rd and Castle streets

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A car crashed into a brick wall on 3rd and Castle Streets just after noon Thursday, narrowly missing someone’s home.

A Wilmington police spokesperson says Alcohol Law Enforcement was pursuing a car when it crashed into the brick wall, running into a nearby yard.

The car did not reach the home and no one was injured.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol is taking over the investigation.
