Checking in: Randy Aldridge gives an update on his cancer fight

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s been about a month since WWAY anchor Randy Aldridge announced that he was taking a leave of absence as he battles cancer.

Since then, so many of you have have reached out to send words of encouragement and support to Randy and his family.

Everyone has also been wondering how he’s doing. Tonight, we hear from Randy himself about his progress as he continues chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Click on the video above to watch!
