It’s Bo’ Time! Golfer Chesson Hadley tees up biscuits at Wilmington Bojangles
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — While several pro golfers spent the morning on the links, Chesson Hadley spent Wednesday morning in the kitchen.
The North Carolina native helped the Bojangles’ on South College Road bake up biscuits, before warming up for the Wells Fargo Championship later in the day.
“There is an art to making biscuits,” he said “I called it Bojangles’ science. There are ways to pick up the biscuits. You have to place the biscuits on the tray a certain way. There is a very precise way of doing this, and that’s why they’re so good.”
Hadley is one to know. He’s a longtime Bojangles’ fan.
“If I have eaten Bojangles’ a thousand times, which probably isn’t too far off, I’ve only gotten a 4-piece supreme dinner, a sausage and egg biscuit, a Cajun filet biscuit, or a country ham biscuit,” he said.
When it comes to the game, the professional golfer is excited to play in his home state.
“I’ve got tons of friends and family coming down. The weather looks like it’s going to be good, except for a little bit Friday morning. The course is in phenomenal shape and it’s just going to be a great week,” Hadley said.
You can watch Hadley play this weekend at the Eagle Point Golf Club during the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship.
