Chris Haney named AD at Topsail High

HAMPSTEAD, NC (WWAY) — Tod Morgan was hired to be the director of athletics at Topsail High School, but Morgan resigned before he officially started the job in order to be the boys head basketball coach at Jones High School in Trenton. Topsail High didn’t waste a lot of time in naming Morgan’s replacement. Chris Haney was recently approved by the Pender County School Board as Topsail’s new AD. Haney served as Ashley High School’s offensive coordinator in 2014. Haney served as the head football coach at East Columbus High School in 2013.
