City Council approves first of two votes on 2015-2016 budget

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington City Council approved the first of two votes on the 2015-2016 budget.

The budget includes more money for infrastructure, public safety, and also a 2.5 cent property tax increase.

There will be a work session on June 8 to review the budget one more time and then the final vote will be June 16.
