City Council chooses parking deck proposal

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington City Council has approved a firm to redevelop the Water Street Parking deck Tuesday night.

Over the last several months, Council members have been looking at ways to redevelop the one acre site.

City Council chose East-West Partners as the firm they will enter negotiations with to revamp the area.

The new site will feature residential space, retail space, and parking.
