City modifies zoning for gated apartments

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Also at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting a public hearing looked at a zoning ordinance off of Greenway Avenue.

Developers of Camden Forest apartments wanted to make it a gated community but needed to modify existing zoning for the area. They petitioned the city who presented the ordinance with no opposition. City Council voted to grant the change.
