City of Wilmington to discuss redeveloping ‘Soda Pop’ district
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – The City of Wilmington wants to hear from residents on how to redevelop the old Coca-Cola bottling and distribution facility.
The facility is located at North 10th and Princess streets. The city says with only 13% of buildable land left inside the city limits, redevelopment of under used or vacant properties is becoming more important.
The workshop will take place Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the New Hanover High School Cafeteria at 1307 Market Street.
Nearby property owners, residents, business owners, and other stakeholders are encouraged to attend the workshop, which is free and open to the public.
