Clue in Pender County murder

Detectives have a clue in the weekend murder in Pender County. The car belonging to Tiffany Dawkins was found Wednesday morning in Wilmington. It’s now being stored at the Pender County Sheriff’s Office for evidence processing.

The 23-year-old mother of two was found shot to death on the side of Highway 133 in Rocky Point early Sunday morning.

Her ex-boyfriend told us she had talked on the phone with her family Saturday night. Hours later, passing drivers called 911 when they spotted her body on the side of the road.
