Coast Guard helps make cocaine bust
The crew of the Wilmington-based Coast Guard Cutter Diligence assisted in a drug bust off the coast of Nicaragua a few days go.
They rounded up 4,400 pounds of cocaine.
The Diligence crew launched a boat crew from the cutter and persuaded the suspect boat with another team from the cutter Tampa, and a Colombian police team.
They forced the boat to Nicaraguan naval forces.
Two men were arrested, and more than two tons of cocaine were confiscated.
