Cold treats for a good cause at Rita’s

Customers had an opportunity to chill out at Rita’s while helping a good cause by donating a dollar to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Each customer walked away with a free Italian ice from Rita’s and information on the cause.

“It’s a really great partnership and every June all of the Rita’s stores ask their guests to donate one dollar and all that money goes to cancer research,” said Rita’s employee Lori Avery.
