College student remembered at memorial service

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Family and friends said goodbye to a UNC student who died over the weekend.

Stedman Gage, 22, was honored today at a memorial service at St. James Episcopal Church.

A roommate found Gage dead in his off-campus home in Chapel Hill late Friday night. Investigators have not yet determined how he died, but they say they do not suspect foul play.
