Columbus County Sheriff’s Office looking for missing woman

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina Department for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Mary Jane Smith.

According to a release, Smith was reported missing early this morning and is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Columbus County Sheriff’s Office asks citizens to be on the lookout for Smith, who was last seen at 724 Manley Smith Road Nakina, NC.

Smith is described as 5’3″ and 170 lbs, with short gray hair and hazel eyes.
