Columbus County Sheriff’s Office finds unidentified body in Fair Bluff

FAIR BLUFF, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after finding an unidentified body in Fair Bluff.

The body was found in the 4000 block of Hinson Crossroads, behind a tobacco barn.

A cause of death has not been determined. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is helping the sheriff’s office with the investigation.
