Columbus Co. Sheriff’s Dept. says brother killed brother with shotgun

COLUMBUS CO., NC – The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a homicide last night at aproximatley 10 PM on Old Stake Rd., one mile north of Tabor City.
Randall Ray Duncan, 43, of Fair Bluff Rd, Tabor City was killed by two shotgun blasts, one to the chest and one to the back.
The shots were fired by his brother, Willard Dale Duncan of Old Stake Rd. The incident took place at Willard’s residence and was the result of an ongoing family dispute. Randall appparently made threats to Willard before traveling to Willard’s house.
No charges have been filed at this time. The case is under review by the District Attorney’s Office.
