Columbus County loses beloved Aunt Sarah

Columbus County has lost one woman, beloved by many.

We first met Aunt Sarah Sledge back in July. At age 93, she was still working at the Ambassador Camp at Lake Waccamaw, which she started back in 1957.

Ambassador Camp is a week long Bible study camp that draws kids from across the country. Many of the kids returned to the camp every year just for Aunt Sarah.

Her family and friends will remember her Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Ambassador Camp Chapel at Lake Waccamaw.
