Cooking Channel’s Man v. Food to film in Wrightsville Beach

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Cooking Channel is coming to Wrightsville Beach later this month.

Filmmakers of the network’s show “Man v. Food” confirmed to WWAY that filming will happen on the beach.

A film permit was filed by Sharp Entertainment for February 25 and 26, but the feature restaurant was not specified.

Flaming Amy’s Burrito Barn announced last week that they too would be featured on the Cooking Channel.

Filming there is expected to take place on Feb. 26.
