Couple accused of running meth lab in New Hanover County
CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY) – A New Hanover County couple is accused of running a meth lab out of their home on McGregor Road.
According to a news release, the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice & Narcotics Detectives and the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation searched a home at 210 McGregor Road.
After a 3-week long investigation, detectives arrested Kerri Lynn Torres, 36, and Joshua Aaron Register, 33, on felony methamphetamines charges.
Both have been booked in the New Hanover County Detention Center.
According to warrants, investigators found digital scales, clear bags, a glass smoking pipe, a metal grinder, a receipt for pseudoephedrine, as well as other chemicals used to make meth.
Warrants allege meth was also found inside the home.
This is an ongoing investigation and additional arrest are possible.
