Court date for man charged for concealing Mariah Woods’ death pushed back
JACKSONVILLE, NC (WCTI) — The live-in boyfriend who was charged for concealing the death of three-year-old Mariah Woods will not be in court today as originally planned— his date was pushed back this morning.
Earl Kimrey, 32, was the live-in boyfriend of Mariah Woods’ mother, Kristy. His new court date is scheduled for April 2, 2018.
Arrest warrants filed in Onslow County released earlier this month detail the charges filed against Kimrey. One warrant charges with obstruction of justice and concealing the girl’s death.
The 32-year-old is currently being held in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $1,010,000 bond. He was taken into custody by investigators at the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office last month.
