Crews contain flames on shrimp boat

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Fire crews battled flames Saturday night on a shrimp boat in the Seabreeze community.

The fire broke out around 8:00. Flames were pouring from the middle and back areas of the boat when firefighters arrived on scene.

Crews from New Hanover County and Wilmington Fire Departments responded to the scene and the flames were contained within a few hours.
