Crews fight fire at George’s Pancake House in Calabash
CALABASH, NC (WWAY) — Several fire crews are battling a fire at a longtime restaurant in Calabash.
According to Brunswick County 911, the call came in to George’s Pancake House and Family Restaurant just before 3:00 p.m.
Smoke could be seen coming in from the roof. Brunswick County Emergency Services, Calabash Fire Department and Sunset Beach Fire Department are all on scene, with mutual aid called in from Horry County.
The restaurant is located in the 9000 block of Beach Drive SW.
No word yet on the amount of damage or how the fire started.
