Crews respond to house fire in Wilmington neighborhood

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Crews responded to a fire at a home off Masonboro Loop Road in Wilmington Wednesday afternoon.

According to Wilmington Fire Department, firefighters were at the scene around 12:30 p.m. of a 2-alarm structure fire at 7600 Cazaux Court.

New Hanover County Fire Recuse also assisted at the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Due to the extreme high heat and lack of structural integrity of the home, investigators say they are unable to get inside to determine the cause.

WFD says the fire was out by 3:40 p.m.
