Crews respond to van, house fire in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Crews responded to a large house fire off River Road in Wilmington Sunday afternoon.

According to the Wilmington Fire Department, a van caught on fire and spread to a home at 729 Shawnee Trail.

WFD says the fire also burned nearby power lines.

No injured were reported.

The New Hanover County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
