Search continues for man who fell from boat Saturday

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC — Columbus County Sheriff Louis Hatcher said crews are still looking for a man who fell from a boat at Inman Lake Saturday.

Hatcher says crews resumed the search around 8 a.m. Sunday morning.

According to Columbus County Emergency Services Director Kim Worley, the man fell from the boat around 3:30 pm yesterday afternoon. Worley says numerous agencies are searching for the man and the search is ongoing.

No additional details have been released at this time.
