Crews working to contain Echo Farms house fire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Crews from the Wilmington Fire Department were in the golf course community fighting a house fire.

A WFD spokesman said when crews arrived to the house in the 3900-block of Appleton Way before 5 p.m., flames were visible from the street. He said everyone inside got out safely.

No word on the cause.
