Criminal summons filed against Marie Holmes

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A woman in Brunswick County said the Shallotte Powerball winner Marie Holmes threatened to hurt her.

According to a criminal summons filed by Lorna Marlowe, Holmes repeatedly called Marlowe on January 10 and threatened to “inflict bodily harm.”

The summons cites two offenses: threatening phone call and harassing phone call.
