Cucalorus Film Festival gets underway
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s opening night for Wilmington’s Cucalorus Film Festival!
Now in its 24th year, the festival features films show across town at various venues.
In addition to the screenings, there are also be stage events such as Dance-a-lorus.
This year, several social justice films will be shown and there will be panel discussions on food scarcity and North Carolina breweries.
On Friday, WWAY’s Amanda Fitzpatrick will serves as a moderator of the monumental transformation panel.
It’s at 11:15 a.m. at CFCC’s Union Station. It is followed a break out session at 3:45. Tickets start at $10.
