Cucalorus Film Festival looking for filmmakers/entrepreneurs

WILMINGTON, NC (Press Release) — 22nd Annual Cucalorus Film Festival and Connect
Conference seeks applications for Norwood Cheek’s 10×10 filmmaking challenge, which
pairs ten filmmakers with ten entrepreneurs to create a short video during the week of
the festival.

Made possible by continued support from the UNCW Center for Innovation and
Entrepreneurship and tekMountain, this immersive experience creates a fun, creative
outlet for filmmakers and entrepreneurs to work together to produce a video, promotional
or otherwise, in one week. In order to participate, you must be available in Wilmington
for the entire duration of the festival and attend both the Kickoff Party and the Final
Screening of the completed videos.

Businesses must be less than three years old and have a fun, outgoing, innovative approach to your industry. The deadline to submit applications is September 15th, 2016.

Connect also seeks corporate videos to be included in our(Cucalorus) Branded Content Showcase.
Made by or for corporate clients, these videos will be presented in our new Start-Up
Lounge to display the strong relationship between the film industry and the business

The 2nd annual Connect Conference is still accepting general proposals for it’s innovative
lineup of keynotes, panels, workshops, and other events. Submit them here by August
23rd, 2016.
