Cucalorus Film Festival opens today

If you're looking for something fun to do, check out the 13th Annual Cucalorus Film Festival. The festival brings together independent filmmakers for several days of non-competitive celebration.

Screenings start today at Thalian Hall, Jengo's Playhouse and Lumina Theater. The festival runs through Saturday. Passes are available at www.cucalorus.org. A festival pass gets you into all the parties and screenings for $100. If you just want to go to the screenings, the cost is $50.
