Cucalorus sets box office record

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A record year for Wilmington’s Cucalorus Film Festival.

More than 10,000 people attended the 16th annual festival. That’s up 10-percent from last year. The festival also set box office records with a slight increase in ticket sales from 2009.

Planning is already underway for next year. The 17th annual Cucalorus Film Festival is November 10-13, 2011.

Tickets are already on sale for Cucalorus’s annual Oscar fundraiser in February. Tickets are $125. They’re available at http://www.cucalorus.org.
