Cultural food and fun at Brunswick County festival
BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY) — Cultures from all around the world were on display in Bolivia Saturday.
Brunswick Community College hosted the Intercultural Festival, which featured food, crafts, and performances from 20 different countries.
More than one hundred volunteers were required to pull this event off.
It gave attendees the chance to experience what it would be like to grow up in a different part of the world.
“We are all different. We have different faces, we have different colors, we have different ideas, all diversity. But in diversity, we have strength,” said Mari-Lou Wong-Chong, the chairwoman of the event.
This was the 13th annual edition of the event and organizers hope to continue to bring diversity and culture to Brunswick County for many years to come.
