DANCE FOR LIFE: Team Victoria and Daniel

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Our own Daniel Seamans is competing in the November 22nd “Dance for Life” during the Women of Hope Diamonds and Champagne Hope Ball. A vote for Team Victoria and Daniel will in turn benefit Women of Hope’s mission to support women with cancer and their families. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store!

Victoria Bollinger is a professional dance instructor with Babs McDance studios in Wilmington.

Dialogue from video:
Daniel Seamans: “I’m messing up, I need more practice. Practice day 10. And I’m still rough. Here we goooo.”
(music plays)
Victoria Bollinger, dance instructor: “We have two left feet and two right. So we’ll put them all together and he’ll be just great.”
(music plays)
Videographer: “How are you feeling today, Daniel?”
Daniel: “I’m not in as good as shape as I thought I was.”
Victoria: “Yes, you are suprisingly bad today.”
(everyone laughing)
Daniel: “This is how you get better. Brutal honesty.”
(talking on the dance floor)
Daniel: “Okay, let’s do this. I’ve got the passion. I feel it. There’s all kinds of passion running through me right now.”
(music plays)
Daniel on dance floor: “Antonio Banderas has nothing on me. Antonio is jealous of Daniel Seamans. Well…maybe when he was 2.”
(music plays)
Victoria: “That was bad.”
(laughing)
Daniel: “Yes, that was bad.”
Videographer: “Where is he on a dancing scale?”
Victoria: “I think he’s going to surprise us all.”
Daniel: “A lot of pressure. I’m not doing good so far. I need more practice. More practice!”
(on dance floor)
Victoria: “Don’t freak out. You are freaking out (about catching me). Don’t freak out. Wait for me.”
Daniel: “I’m freaking out!”
(on dance floor)
Victoria: “I have to comment to you(to videographer). Today Daniel dances like Pinnochio(stick arms)”.
Videographer: “She called you Pinnochio, Daniel!”
Daniel: “Pinnochio. (laughing). She calls me Pinnochio.”
(on dance floor practicing a fancy move)
Victoria: “That was better.”
Daniel: “Better. But still (makes funny sound).”
Victoria: You are doing real good. You are.”
Daniel: “This is a lot of work!!!!”
