Delta resumes some flights, ILM dealing with minimal impact

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Some Delta passengers are still trying to get out of Wilmington International Airport, but overall, the airport didn’t have any major issues.

Gary Broughton, Airport Authority Deputy Director, says based on ILM’s size, the outage had a minimal impact. Broughton says the first Delta flight managed to fly out before the computer outage issues began.

Broughton say 2 flights to Atlanta and 1 to La Guardia were impacted today.  Right now, the airport is working to get them prioritized and back on track.

Broughton expects everything should be back to normal around mid-day.
