Democrats agree Super Tuesday isn’t likely to produce clear winner

WASHINGTON (AP) — Rivals Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama are in agreement — neither thinks a clear Democratic winner will come out of Super Tuesday.

Obama says a “split decision” is likely. And Clinton says everyone is guessing what will happen.

But Clinton realizes the significance of nearly two dozen states taking to the polls today, saying “the stakes are huge.” More than 1,600 delegates are up for grabs.

Clinton voted near her home in New York, accompanied by her husband Bill and daughter Chelsea. When she walked up, an election worker joked, “You’re a Democrat, right?” Clinton smiled.

In Illinois, Obama supporters expressed pride for the home-state senator. One Chicago woman said, “we have something great to vote for today.”
