Deputies: 8-year-old accidentally shoots 12-year-old

PITT COUNTY, NC (WCTI) — An 8-year-old accidentally shot his 12-year-old relative, according to deputies.

According to officials, the shooting happened Sunday morning on Highway 30 in Stokes. Officials said the two boys found a shotgun and bullets. The two boys were able to load the weapon and the 8-year-old accidentally shot the other boy in the arm.
