Deputies identify victim reportedly killed by roommate in Bladen County
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The sheriff’s office in Bladen County has released the identity of the victim in a recent murder.

Authorities say Mitchell Ray Meggs, 66, who was formerly from South Carolina, died on Dec. 7 following a domestic violence situation at a home on Albert Street.

When deputies arrived, they reportedly saw blood on a bedroom window. They entered the home through an unlocked door and discovered Meggs dead in the bedroom, CCSO said.
Meggs’ roommate, 35-year-old Michael Bullock, was arrested as the suspect. He was charged with murder and placed in the Bladen County Detention Center under no bond.
