Deputies release photo of early morning robber

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a person who robbed a convenience store this morning.

Deputies said it happened just after 3 a.m. at the Kangaroo in the 6700-block of Carolina Beach Road. They said a man walked into the store and demanded cash from the attendant. There were no reports of injuries or weapons used.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall wearing black pants, a dark green coat and a toboggan. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.
