Deputies release sketch of ‘honey robber’

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the Pender County Sheriff’s Office are hoping a new sketch of an armed robbery suspect will help them make an arrest.

The incident was reported on April 30 around 1:15 p.m. on US 117 in Burgaw. Deputies said an elderly man was robbed in his driveway while trying to sell honey. Deputies called it an armed robbery but did not specify what weapon was used. There were no injuries reported.
