UPDATE: Winnabow man found safe

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man reported missing has been found safe, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing man.

In a Facebook post, the sheriff said Shane Curtis Lester, 28, was last seen at his home in Winnabow Monday afternoon.

Lester has brown hair, a red beard, is 170 lbs., 5’10” and wears glasses.

He hasn’t had contact with any family since he was last seen, according to the sheriff.
