Deputies looking for man after robbery in Wilmington

Deputies in New Hanover County need your help finding a person of interest.

Detectives are looking for Charlie Emery Foy, Jr.

Just before 10:00 Wednesday night, deputies responded to a robbery at the intersection of Gordon Road and White Road. They found a 56-year-old black woman lying on the side of the road. Investigators said two white men approached the victim as she got off the bus. One man snatched her purse while the second shoved her to the ground.

Foy is described as a white man, six-feet tall, 185 pounds, brown/grey hair, blue eyes with a goatee. He is known to panhandle in the area of Gordon Road and I-40.
