Detectives: Man steals nearly $30,000 worth of jewelry

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the community’s assistance in finding a man wanted for felony larceny.

Detectives said Douglas Wilson Branton, 30, from Loris, SC, stole nearly $30,000 in jewelry from a home on Woody Trail in Bolivia on Dec. 3.

According to a news release, Branton is a white male, approximately 5’10”-6’0″ and weighs 170 lbs. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
